Oen Mowell is an up-and-coming country artist from Monroe, Georgia. Inspired by the diverse musical tastes of his parents, ranging anywhere from Eminem to Hank Williams jr, he developed a love for music early on. Though initially hesitant to sing, he found his voice with the guidance of his father, Matt Mowell, who introduced him to the six-string guitar. Music runs deep in his family—both his father and great-grandfathers sang in church—and that rich tradition continues in Oen’s performances today.

Oen’s roots are not only in country music but in the Georgia outdoors. He spends time hunting and fishing which puts his mind in a creative place for writing songs. Oen is a storyteller blending clever phrasing with heartfelt narratives.
